The 1998 Cabernet Sauvignon Lime Cave comes from clay/limestone soils built near a cave used for growing mushrooms. The wine is tightly-knit with a beautiful texture. Offering a combination of power and elegance, its Pauillac-like cedary, spice box aromas turn into blackberry liqueur intermixed with cassis and other assorted black fruits as it aerates. This spectacular Cabernet requires 1-2 years of cellaring, and should age for 15 years.
