94 Points James Halliday
It's a malty, licoricey red with baked plum, prune and saltbush characters pushing it straight into full-bodied territory. There's ample tannin here but fruit flavour swamps straight on through. It has very good shape in the mouth, despite its overdone/overcooked nature, and certainly packs plenty into the glass. Drink to 2039.
