Intense purple colour from core to a bright purple rim. A super-fragrant nose, crushed forest fruits and violets with a touch of seaside savoury as well. The palate is very primary and youthful with loads of sweet berry fruit. Add to that an oyster sauce savoury note really giving a sense of umami throughout the palate. Lots to see here and a beautifully built framework of acid and tannin giving both control and freshness. Very long and driven to the end. It lingers forever. You could happily drink it now, but time will open things up far more
