Deep-ish red-purple hue; some earthy/leathery smoked-meaty Hunter character shows on the nose, and there are rich mocha and vanilla flavours over dark and red berry flavours, with a patina of development. Attractive medium-aged shiraz that's in a good drinking zone right now and has future potential. Long finish and good concentration. Firm, earthy, drying tannins complete the picture. Lovely wine drinking well now.
