Deep red, some purple. Saturated colour. Walnut aromas, spices and dried herbs, green walnuts, full-bodied and rich, deep and solid, lots of tannin but smooth supple tannins, with ample fruit sweetness, good density and structure, clean drying tannins which aren't grippy or hard. Solid, deep, concentrated wine with length and grip and serious authoritative structure.
