Deep, bright purple/red colour, the aromas fresh and vibrant, with mulberry and blackberry bursting from the glass. The wine is deep and concentrated with loads of bright fruit, the palate sweetly-fruited and lush, with ample tannins which are softer and smoother than the Pyrus. It's also a lot less oaky than that wine. It's very appealing and will cellar long-term.
