Deepish red/purple colour with a blackberry, black cherry aroma, some leafy blackcurrant notes echoing cabernet in the mix. The palate is leanish and sinewy, tight and slighty gritty in the tannin department. There is a touch of hardness in the tannins, but it's otherwise good. Food needed. Good value.
