Dark red, with black and purple tints. Earthy, toasty savoury aromas, not so cool or bright. Less of the red-fruit and spice aromas. Elegant, medium-bodied, fruit nicely encased in a robe of savouriness and fine powdery tannins. These wines seem to be gradually getting more flesh, like this one. Not quite as detailed as 08 or 06. Most impressive wine, long and satisfying.
