93 Points James Halliday
Full purple-red; slightly deeper than the '92 vintage; the bouquet shows a complex mix of sweet, ripe fruit, charry oak and that family/regional hint of earth. The powerful palate has many layers of flavour, with sweetly ripe dark berry fruits intermingling with more briary/foresty/earthy characters and appreciable vanilla and cedar oak. Drink to 2010.
