94 Points James Halliday
Medium to full red-purple; a show-stopper of a wine, or as Robert Parker might put it, a gob-stopper. The bouquet is potent, with slightly resinous oak; the palate is massive and powerful, needing much time, with an extraordinary array of minty/cherry fruit and oak and fruit tannins all intermingling. Drink to 2010.
