Medium red-purple; the bouquet is already showing some attractive bottle-developed savoury/cedary overtones to the fruit; the palate, on the other hand, is rich and surprisingly dense, with abundant blackberry/blackcurrant fruit, lingering, ripe tannins and well integrated and balanced French oak. A great success for the year. Drink to 2012.
