A superb bottle of mature Coonawarra cabernet, drinking well now. The bouquet is all about cedar/tobacco cigarbox, still with cassis-like cabernet fruit showing through the developed characters. The wine is full-bodied and deep, lush in fruit and the tannins are as soft as silk. The finish is very long and satisfying. A stand-out vintage for this wine. At its peak now, but no hurry to drink it.
