Huon Hooke
Unusual, metallic smelling aroma, ironstone, not cabbish at all. Palate lean, tight, boney and rather hard. Needs more fruit and charm.

89 Points James Halliday
Medium red-purple; clean, fresh redcurrant and mulberry aromas, the palate with more length and intensity than the Shiraz, but with distinct herbal notes, and, once again, not as concentrated as usual. Lingering tannins are a plus. Drink to 2011.
