Medium to full purple-red; smooth, quite intense blackberry/cassis fruit is supported by subtle oak on the bouquet; powerful tannins run right through the palate, and one wonders whether they will ever soften. Certainly they unbalance the wine now, which is a pity. Drink to 2010.
