87 Points Robert Parker
The 2003 Cabernet Sauvignon “St. Hugo” was aged in new and used French oak for 18-24 months depending upon the parcel. Purple-colored, the nose exhibits attractive mint and eucalyptus notes as well as cassis and black cherry. On the palate, this Cabernet is medium to full-bodied with a supple palate-feel and good flavors which are all on the surface. The wine is ready to drink and should be consumed over the next 4-6 years.

93 Points James Halliday
Substantial wine; blackcurrant, with distinctly earthy regional notes starting to show; positive tannin contribution through the length of the palate; almost Italianate. Drink to 2018.
