Aniseed aromas; superripe. Lots of nose and the ripeness is correct, but it's hardly an elegant or complex wine. Traditional bold Oz shiraz, with a gumleaf component. Liquorice/aniseed also, with some aggressive tannin and plenty of guts. Will age well.
