Huon Hooke
Deep red, no real purple left, but deep dark colour. Complex meaty gamy nose; barrel ferment and oak, but also stylish complex aged red-wine characters. A lovely, savoury, developed bouquet. Touches of earth, leather and aged berry fruits. Lovely wine; balance, elegance and tannins are supple and smooth. Rich, with very good balance and drinkability. Drink to 2020+.

94 Points James Halliday
Layer-upon-layer of cool-vintage McLaren Vale shiraz: blackberry, then dark chocolate, then more blackberry, and finally a thin slice of licorice and earth. Will be very long-lived. Drink to 2022.
