Dense, dark and fairly oaky red in a ‘take no prisoners” style. a wine of impressive proportions with masses of sweet fruit that more than handles a generous dollop of oak. Not at its best served at warm temperatures. Firm, ripe tannins are needed to keep fruit sweetness in check. Mint.16.5, 17.5, 16, 17.5, 17.5, 16.5

Dense colour; saturated black fruits, opulent mouthfeel, but tightened and lengthened by cedary oak and lingering tannins. Drink to 2021.

"Dry, roping, coiled tannin. Voluminous, backward, black fruit. Toasty oak kept - almost to the point of reserve - in check. Background itches of dried herbs and leaf matter. Patience is required. It could be a beauty."
