Deep and intense ruby colour. Blackcurrant, tomato leaf and pencil graphite aromatics. A big and powerful palate, fruit is very ripe and still vibrant, hints of leaf and wood shavings adding layers of character and interest. Tannins are fine and soft, just caressing the edges as it runs long to finish

A high quality wine from the first whiff of the bouquet through to the long finish; the medium- to full-bodied palate has a tapestry of flavours from the base of Cabernet Sauvignon (88%)/Petit Verdot (5%)/Cabernet Franc (4%)Malbec (3%), all supported by persistent but ripe tannins, the oak absorbed by the fruit. Drink to 2022.
