Medium red-purple; the bouquet opens with ripe, cassis fruit, with more cedary/briary notes thereafter. The palate has considerable concentration, with clean, rich fruit, lingering tannins and subtle oak. Certainly the best vintage so far under this label. Drink to 2010.
