Huon Hooke
Deep red purple. Very good colour. Vibrant nose, spice and some oak, vibrant and fresh. Clean and shirazzy. Very lively, intense and fresh, an elegant wine, beautifully proportioned, medium-bodied style of moderate alcohol and fine but persuasive tannins. Lovely wine indeed. Very long palate. Could drink this. Worth cellaring, too.

90 Points James Halliday
A 60% blend of Clare Valley/40% Adelaide Hills material; a vibrant and spicy entry courtesy of the Adelaide Hills component, then quite savoury tannins on the finish, provided by the Clare Valley portion. Drink to 2013.
