Medium to deep garnet-purple colored, the 2010 Winemaker's Selection Vat 8 Shiraz Cabernet opens with notes of black plums, warm blueberries and dusty earth with underlying dried herbs, Szechuan pepper and creme de cassis hints. Medium-bodied with a low to medium level of rounded tannins and just enough acidity supporting the peppery black fruit flavors, it finishes with great length and finesse. Drink it now to 2020+.
