Huon Hooke
Deep, dark red/purple colour. Shy, subdued bouquet, but the dark fruits are there and a multiplicity of dry spices; deep and latent. Sumptuous, wonderful depth of flavour and weight, with a marvellous balance between primary fruit and savoury complexities. Very well structured wine, dense and rewarding, with profound flavour that builds and then lasts and lasts on the aftertaste. The tannins are really special, giving great structure and mouthfeel and supporting the flavour.

Typical deep crimson-purple; intense dark berry fruit aromas join with quality French oak on the bouquet, the svelte palate adding perfectly balanced and integrated tannins; top class finish and aftertaste; purity and power. Drink to 2035.
