Bob Campbell

A slimmed down and rather more elegant version of a label that was once voluptuous with often intimidating alcohol levels (this is a modest 13.5%) and over-the-top flavour intensity and mouth feel. A wine of subtle power and emerging complexity with tight berry, plum and spice flavours plus a seasoning of classy oak

90 Points Robert Parker

The 2010 Shiraz displays a deep garnet purple color and gives notes of freshly crushed blackberries and mulberries with suggestions of licorice, dried plums, earth and tree bark. Medium-bodied, the palate is led by a solid structure of firm rounded tannins and refreshing acid with a good amount of expressive flesh, finishing long. Drink it now to 2016+.

96 Points James Halliday

Deep but clear purple-crimson; the bouquet calmly announces its cool-grown southern origins, with fragrant, almost flowery, red fruits and spices; the medium-bodied palate is supple and smooth, building impressively on the finely structured finish thanks to exactly poised tannins. Will be very long lived. Drink to 2030.

95 Points Tyson Stelzer

There''s a cuddly approachability to 2010 Margaret River shiraz, here strategically supported with Rob Mann''s signature firm, fine tannins. It''s fresh and juicy, brimming with red cherries, plums and black pepper against a backdrop of milk choc oak. With outstanding length and exacting balance, all it needs is a year for fruit and oak to integrate. Drink 2020 - 2025.
