Deep red colour, purple tints. Chocolate and red berry aromas with a vanilla tinge. Also a trace of mint. It's medium to full-bodied and has a fleshy density on the palate. The palate is long and lingering, the tannins tight and firm - but not too firm. The acidity is quite pointed. A very good wine, loaded with fruit and charm. And very cellarable. But I wonder if the acid wasn't a tad over-adjusted.

Bright red-purple; as usual, a blend of cabernet sauvignon and shiraz that has an expressive fruit bouquet, the layered palate ranging through plum, blackberry and blackcurrant with an undertone of Coonawarra mint, the tannins fine and ripe, oak doing its job well. Drink to 2020.
