Huon Hooke
Deepish red colour, purple tinges. Shy walnut and herbal aromas, some tomato leaf. Soft, rounded, savoury, not fruity, with a little tannin firmness on the after-palate and follow-through. Some tannin grip, which becomes more obvious with repeated sips. Doesn't have great depth of flavour. Structured, and perhaps needs more time.

Medium to deep garnet-purple in color, the 2010 Olmo’s Reward is a blend of Cabernet Franc, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Malbec presenting scents of black raspberries, warm black cherries and mulberries with hints of plums, pencil shavings, Chinese five-spice and lilacs. Medium to full-bodied with plenty of ripe red and black fruit flavors and a lovely, spicy undercurrent that is well supported by medium to firm fine grained tannins and lively acid, it finishes with great length. Drink it now to 2020+.
