Deep red colour with a good purple tinge, the bouquet showing substantial oak, with dark chocolate and cocoa powder flavours abounding. It's full-bodied and deep, with lush, profound flavour and abundant tannins. It needs more time for the oak and tannins to better mellow, and has a lot of potential.
