Huon Hooke
Deep red colour with a slight purple tinge. The aromas are of dark cherry and raspberry, with a tinge of herbs and mercifully it's not overtly oaky. The wine is very full-bodied and robust, with tannin aplenty and considerable complexity. It has a touch of elegance and very good length. The wine is full-bodied and forceful with a lot of power. The veritable iron fist in the velvet glove. Rich and dense. Long-term cellaring indicated. An outstanding wine.

95 Points Robert Parker
Deep garnet colored, the 2006 Cabernet Sauvignon / Shiraz The Reserve is still incredibly youthful with primary notes of plums and blackcurrants plus mint chocolate, cloves and black earth. Rich, full-bodied and packed with generous blackberry preserves flavors, it maintains a solid backbone of finely grained tannins and plenty of freshness, finishing long and spicy with an invigorating herbal lift.
