The 2005 Shiraz Sophie has a brooding bouquet of cedar, smoke, Asian spices, blueberry, and plum. Dense, concentrated, and savory, it has enough structure to evolve for 2-3 years. Nicely balanced, full-flavored, and long, it will be at its best from 2012 to 2020.
