Full red to brick-red colour with lots of red tints. 'Bacon fat' aroma, possibly from oak. Roasted meats. Hints of ironstone and dried blood. Firm, tight, a little angular on the tongue. A touch bony, but very good. Not a rich wine. Long finish. 23% Eden Valley.
