Deep, dark red colour with a tint of purple, and the bouquet is smoky, charry, coal-dusty. The palate is very elegant and smooth, fine-grained tannins and gorgeously intense, has already built much more complexity than the (as yet unreleased) 2018. Fine, savoury, elegant medium-bodied wine of great purity, line and length.
