Deep red purple, excellent colour. Mineral ironstone aroma; palate very intense and concentrated but shrill and harsh, somewhat astringent. Some hardness. Lean minerally, sinewy but powerful, with piercing intensity and length. Needs food. Seems richer the more you sip! Good drinking
