Deep-ish red with a tint of purple, the bouquet very spicy, also vegetal and humus-like with a strong whole-bunch influence. The wine is medium to full-bodied and softly-textured, with flesh and sweet-fruit succulence, the foresty whole-bunch note dominating the flavours with its stemmy overtones. The more you sip, the more the spicy flavours come to the fire and the wine delights. The balance and texture of the palate are highlights. (4% viognier)
