The 2004 Admiral’s Reserve Shiraz is more structured and muscular. It will need a few more years to reach its peak but it is not significantly better than the far less expensive “regular” bottling.

The 2004 Cabernet Sauvignon Admirals Reserve reveals a saturated inky/purple hue as well as additional graphite, creme de cassis, cedar, and spice characteristics, and a structured personality with great depth, richness, and muscle. It is an impressive wine that shows what Cabernet Sauvignon can achieve in the hands of impeccable growers and winemakers.
