92 Points Robert Parker
The 2004 Shiraz was aged for 24 months in 84% new oak, predominantly French. Purple-colored, it has an alluring perfume of toasty oak, smoky bacon, violets, blueberry, and plum. This is followed by a medium-bodied wine exhibiting some elegance. It offers spicy blue and black fruit flavors, excellent depth, good balance, and a lengthy, fruit-filled finish. It will evolve for another 4-6 years and drink well through 2024.
