Bright, medium to full yellow colour, with a complex yet fresh and lively bouquet that invokes toast, smoky candle snuff, chicken stock, wax and creamed hazelnuts. Rich in the mouth and enlivened by good acidity, it has length and drive and fully satisfies. A superb chardonnay.

Barrel fermentation, extended yeast lees contact, maturation in one-third new French oak. On the generous side of chardonnay with plenty of dash. Stone fruits aplenty, ripe grapefruit and smoked almonds aroma. Plush and summery on the palate with a touch of savoury oak and delicious tangy acidity. In fine fettle right now. Drink to 2027.
