Huon Hooke
Slightly darker colour; Medium to medium-light red-purple. Earthier wine, plummy, skinsy aromas, weightier and bigger with more tannin and apparently more alcohol, but it's not higher than the others. Broader and a touch diffuse where the others are focused. Very concentrated; powerful; emphatic. Took longer to open up and show its fruit. The most structural. Big and almost chewy in its density and texture. Again, great length and also builds along the palate. Just a touch of heaviness to it. Better with food.
