89 Points Robert Parker
A blend of Pinot Noir from the Macedon Ranges and Syrah from Heathcote, the 2019 Tradition is the only non-estate wine in the lineup and also the largest production, at 1,528 bottles. This sort of interregional and varietal blending has a long history in Australia, hence the name. There's a distinct minty-herbal edge to this wine that's not present in the others, balanced by bouncy blueberry and cherry fruit. Medium to full-bodied, it's supple on the mid-palate, then turns a bit dusty, with a slightly metallic edge to the finish.
