Huon Hooke
Deep purple red, dense color. Concentrated but slightly aberrant aromas; a whiff of cork. Sweet and juicy in mid-palate, then a wash of dry savoury but soft tannins to follow. Decent wine, ripe and clean, balanced and fresh, with a future ahead of it. Medium-full bodied and tannins are gentle and smooth. Oak is controlled, too.

94 Points James Halliday
Bright colour; a deep and compelling bouquet, loaded with black fruits, black olive cedar and a suggestion of mint; the palate is dark fruited, with bright acidity ample tannins and a dark, savoury aspect to the very long finish. Drink to 2020.
