Huon Hooke
Good red-purple hue. Meaty, slightly sweaty nose: animal. Some barrel ferment? Meaty/toasty oak/fruit interactions. Palate is on the light side and smooth, with gentle tannins and good drinkability. Lovely balance; medium-bodied at most. Drinks well now. Definitely a touch of meaty/animal funk; call it Hunter character!

94 Points James Halliday
Oak dominant bouquet of mocha and coffee with redcurrant, blackberry and a touch of spice; light to medium-bodied with the fragrance really coming forward on the palate; fine and elegant on the finish. Drink to 2015.
