Deep and intense purple hue. The nose has some wood polish and cocoa notes over baked plums. A huge core of black fruits, weighty and textured but with a bright acid line and fine gravelly tannins providing a controlling tension along the palate flow. Has a lovely focus into the finish but a lingering wood polish character mars the final notes
