Deep purple/red; excellent colour. Very rich and layered bouquet with primary fruit forward and lots of plum, blackberry, spice and aniseed aromas, a touch of fruitcake and big, mouthfilling flavour. Lively and fresh in the mouth with lots of energy and zing. Long and balanced, a lovely wine and should age superbly. Hedonistic.
