An elegant, pure and, much like the Amoureuses, overtly floral nose speaks of plum, dark cherry and newly turned earth scents. There is fine volume to the intense and equally stony middle weight flavors that demonstrate lovely cut but not the same density as the best in the range. This is classy and solidly persistent but a bit light in the context of a Gevrey grand cru. Drink to 2034+.
