Huon Hooke
Full red purple. Good colour. Red berry aromas, fruit-driven and clean, ripe fresh and inviting. Palate is a bit weak, though. Light, tannic and short, it's pinched and lean, lacks real concentration and depth of flavour. Tannin over-balances. Time may resolve this. Well-made but lacks punch.

Vibrant colour; nice essency cabernet fruit, with a savoury black olive aspect in the background; quite fleshy, but a little short on the finish. Drink to 2012.
