Dense purple-red; the bouquet is typically super-concentrated, oozing ripe black cherry fruit and heaps of oak. The palate is at once profound, yet smooth, almost glossy, with black cherry fruit and cedar/vanilla oak. The tannins are ample but round and soft. Drink to 2016.
