The colour is good, while the bouquet is very ripe, with a definite whiff of vintage port about it. There are also some menthol-type aromas, a permutation of eucalyptus-mint, I believe. The wine is a pleasant drink and fully mature at 19 years, but it's certainly not a top example of what can be a great wine in some vintages. (13.7% alc.)
