Deep red-purple; an outstanding wine with an abundance of rich, ripe, dark cherry and plum fruit, with great depth and structure to an outstanding palate. Certainly, oak plays a role, but it is both balanced and integrated. Placed first in the 2001 Great Australian Shiraz Challenge. Drink to 2015.
