Huon Hooke
Sweaty fusty teatowel smell. It’s the year. Tight and tannic, unyielding; stern and needs more time. Grippy. Palate isn't so bad. Dry and savoury though, not much bright fruit. Could hold on for a few years.

92 Points James Halliday
Medium red-purple; clean, dark blackberry and blackcurrant fruit aromas are supported by the typical well-integrated oak; there is considerable depth to the black fruit and dark chocolate flavours of the palate, which finishes with fine tannins. Drink to 2015.
