91 Points Robert Parker
An impressive wine is the 1995 Cabernet Sauvignon/Merlot (70% of the former and 30% of the latter). Possessing over 14% alcohol, this is an Australian-styled/sized, hugely extracted, chewy, rich, viscous wine with full body and copious quantities of glycerin. It offers plenty of chocolate and black currant fruit notes intermixed with pain grille and damp forest-like aromas. With low acid, sweet tannin, and a huge, chocolatey, roasted coffee-flavored finish, this terrific, big, rich, heavyweight wine should drink well for 10 or more years.
