90 Points Robert Parker
This big, blockbuster Shiraz (100 cases produced) was aged in a combination of new and old French and American oak. Its deep purple color is accompanied by aromas of graphite, blackberries, cherry liqueur, cola, smoke, and damp earth. Full-bodied and chewy, with abundant glycerin, moderately sweet tannin, and an impressively long, packed finish, it can be drunk now, but will be even better in 2-3 years. It should last for a decade or more.
